LOOK, A PICTURE OF ME.

it’s ok

it’s my desire to passionately and purposefully create across various mediums in attempts to bring mine and others visions to life.

this is where i talk about myself

As long as I can remember I have sought out ways to translate ideas from my head into the real world. I have always known that if I can picture it in my head, I can make it happen. This has made me to be a jack of all trades. A badge I wear with pride.

I enjoy knowing that I have all the tools necessary at my disposal to achieve what needs to get done. Be it, the right saw to cut wood, the right knife to cut leather, or the correct ingredient to make a meal.

I enjoy making things that feel right and won’t hesitate to redo something if it means there will be a better outcome.

My desire is to passionately create. Meaning whatever I put my attention towards, I want to do it with my whole attention, and to the best of my ability.

wood working.

It is amazing to me how wonderful of a resource wood is. My current goal is to replace all my Ikea furniture with custom made pieces, however I am no where near the level of craftsman that some people are with wood, but I am constantly working and refining my ability and skill.

Making.

This term is a fairly new one, and honestly could cover all my hobbies, but to me being a maker is about making ideas real. Need something? Make it. Want something? Make it.

The best example of this is a project that has pushed the limits of my abilities and given me new skills. The project is the recreation of a character from the video game Destiny. What started as a simple “Let me just 3D print this…” turned into an escalation of aspirations. A single LED grew into a 1.3 inch screen and learning how to program.

art.

I don’t know if I would call myself an artist, but being able to put pen to paper can be very therapeutic.

food.

What is there to say. Food is good. being able to make something from scratch and see it go from ingredients to a finished and delicious thing; and knowing you created it.

Again, food is good.
